The Wind from Seattle Vol.48

At the lobby of the Seattle Art Museum, I found a couple taking selfies. My eyes were caught by their sweet becoming clothes. After a shot conversation, I took some shots of them and was impressed by how naturally they paused in the atmosphere of the Art Hall of Fame and how well they understand mutually. I was so touched that I felt a limp in my throat. I've been taking ten thousand shots, but this is the kind of thing that only happens once and this shot will be an unforgettable one.

Walking with big steps, the two pass the street chatting happily. Their nifty figure is just beautiful. They must be living a positive and smooth life.

How wonderful it is to be well and able to spend time together with friends. Old friends are sharing their time together for a long time at an old record shop in an old town. What else do we need?

The picture book "Where's Wally?" published in the United Kingdom in 1987 was popular all over the world including Japan and I used to play with it all the time. I now wonder what my mental age is, finding myself taking many pictures for "Where's Scott?"

We relate to others in order to live in a community. If we don't like it, we have to live a self-contained life on a mountain although we know it's not easy. But, sometimes we become tired of our social life and want to be alone just for a short period of time.

While reading I happened to look outside to find the soft shadow reflected in the glass door. When I find it is already late and turn on the lamp, I realize that today is passing by quietly and I feel at peace.

If you want to immerse yourself in loneliness, choose a shivering rainy night. After getting drenched in the rain, I shrug my shoulders to step into an empty restaurant as soon as it opens. While I am staring vacantly at outside, the server brings the water pot and the menu. Half-listening to today's special articulated by her, I take a deep breath to swallow the heartful of loneliness.

After filling my stomach with delicious food, I feel uplifted and my mood swings. Wet sidewalks aren't bad because they reflect light brilliantly making the town look happy.

The rain became heavier and now I want to be around people. Let's take a break at Starbucks over there to have some hot latte.

There's a big water pool on the quiet backstreet. The reflected street lamp waves when a car splashes water. Let's go home.

Rainy season is finally here, although it sometimes becomes sunny. Still, the sky doesn't clear up and the clouds flow breezily just like torn cottons. And, trying hard not to fall off, the yellow poplar leavers create the atmosphere of late autumn. The grey world is getting here quickly.
