In each season, nature has its own beauty. Seattle enters the rainy season in autumn, so it's rare to have sunny clear days. But, once in a while, we have refreshing sky with a crystal ray of light. Is it because dusts have been sunk by the rain? Anyway, on such a gorgeous day, my top priority changes to spending the whole day burying myself in under the light neglecting my work and appointments just to play with nature.

It's already fun just to watch leaves changing colors and shapes according to the season. In autumn, the green color is weakened and changes to yellow and red when it becomes cold. Then, the finale comes with the dance by shrunk and broken leaves. Now, the winter comes and the evergreen trees that had remained humble begin to boast its color.

Washington State has approximately 7000 lakes and 4000 rivers in various sizes. I'm convinced by the number of rivers because just a short drive from the city takes me to water no matter which direction I head to. And, I realize our life depends on water. In this season, lakes and sky become clear blue and the changing leaves of the lakeside trees pop up from the scenery.

In this waterful environment, ships are indispensable to enjoy spare time. I see trailers pulling boats in every town. The boats can be parked around houses if there's a space. Even if not, they can be parked at marinas. Having a small fishing boat is ranked high in my future activity wish list.

Around the city, almost all lakeside and riverside areas have paths through forests. There I meet people who are walking/jogging, and wild animals such as deer, rabbits, squirrels, and sometimes, coyotes.

Within the grounds of the University of Washington, there's a port for yachts and it's also available for general people. It's so quiet there, so I like to eat lunch on a warm still day.

The houses glitter in the sunshine after a long time and they look happy. The geese flying over the lake must be surprised by this sunshine, too. The sky will be closed by thick clouds and the cold rainy season comes again. So, why don't you give a glad shout?

It's nice to sit alone and read, just get absorbed in meditation, or eat lunch enjoying the fall scenery. Let's take time to enjoy this beautiful season.

When it started to darken, this water plants' leaves were shining mysteriously as if it were nocturnal. They must be making a last-ditch effort to show their beauty even thought they are turning brown. How can I not photograph this beauty?
