It has been sunny these days and the world is in vivid blue and green. Even though it's summer, the temperature rarely exceeds 25 °C. Yet, the ray of light is very story and we use air-condition inside cars. People who had been hibernating start to go out and become active. They celebrate the bright light, stretch their shrunken body, inhale the joy of living, and become vitalized.

Along the other side of the Lake Union located in the north of Seattle, there's a small town called Ballard. Whenever I walk around this town, I don't care about miscellaneous affairs anymore and I think it's because my heart is purified by the clean air. Young people come to town and walk on the street happily. They become free from worries because of youth and have full of energy. They're in the age when they want to jump for no reason.

Sitting on the bench, the old couple is taking a break from walking and making a small talk with passersby. It's their daily routine work to talk about their kind son or the sob story of their cute grandchild. It's the character of this town to have such a peaceful space.

On weekends, they have flea markets everywhere. Both sellers and buyers talk happily. They're so into their conversation as if they don't even care about their business. The summer shining is also generated by their happy smiles and the bright colorful air makes the town look vibrant. These colors dance on the green trees as well as the blue sky.

The sun is still high even after 6PM, but the difference of brightness between the sunny and shadow areas is becoming greater. At the same time, temperature starts to fall gradually and I don't feel hot even though I walk. It's still early to have a dinner, so I should walk down to the wharf while doing some window-shopping.

The wind from the Elliot Bay feels comfortable and the dazzling afternoon sun looks beautiful. When I feel the happiness and the taste of fresh raw oysters along with the smell of the tide in my mouth, I pour a chilled beer through the throat. And, how wonderful it would be to have some fun conversation listening to the ships' whistles and seagulls' cries.

The sun starts to fall telling the day's end. In the house, the wife is busy preparing for dinner while the child is looking forward to their father's return watching TV. This is the most relaxing time of the day. We have a variety of "everyday" and it can be happy, sad, difficult and lucky. While looking equally at these lives of the people, they sky steadily finishes the business of the day.
