The Wind from Seattle Vol.44

It's Sunday morning. I wake up and stretch my body. Listening to a light piano tune, I taste the icy clear cold sauvignon blanc and close my eyes to feel the cool meadow taste and exhilaration going down my throat. And, the bracing scent of the blue grapes going through my nose vitalizes myself.

These days, even though I don't work as hard as I did in the past, I love Sundays. Because, like everybody else, I used to work on Saturdays when I was young, I still feel have my old habit of appreciating Sundays even though I don't have to work on Saturdays anymore. And, if I stay home, I'll be asked to do housework. So, I grab my camera and go out expecting to encounter something exciting.

I love the sunbeams streaming through leaves of this season. The ground is filled with beautiful silhouettes of deciduous trees which look like a fine pattern.

When the wind blows, the young leaves rub against each other as if they were talking to each other. The pattern drawn by the leaked light keeps changing just like an illusion.

I like the romantic mood of slopes. Even though it's early summer, I still feel reluctant to change my wardrobe because the night air is still chilly.

This scene reminds me of my three first-loves and they were fifth grader, 8th grade and freshman in high school. My love never reached them. The first one was 1-year older. The second one was a fair-skinned and chubby. And, the third one was a passionate adult Hispanic. Because the way I feel them was different from each other, they were all "first" loves. And, as soon as I wrote about them here, my heart started to beat harder again.

The size of this kitchen is unusually bright and wide for the size of the restaurant. And, they even have big bread-baking oven. While many kitchens have a full of cookers and furniture in a narrow space with hard working people, this place has a relaxed mood and all female staff except the chef looks happy working there.

Next to the kitchen is a space for customers and it extends up to the second floor. Because of the sunniness, I feel so good and of course they serve a great French casual that makes me want to come back.

Watching people in town is always fun because everyone has their stories. While one person looks happy, other person looks serious walking fast holding many books.

When it's hot, how about window-shopping while walking in the shade? The best way to walk the streets is be planless. Otherwise, how can we find something new?

The weather is nice. The young leaves have a great scent. The leaking sunshine is beautiful. And, your smile is a special grade that makes my weekend. "Stop the passing of time. In the dizziness of life." I cannot "bet this woman," but I feel so happy today, Mr. Yazawa.
