I stopped down a little bit. It’s compact for its focal length, so it’s very easy to use. I could see the resolution was high in the actual size.

The front bokeh is very natural. It’s sharp more than enough wide open.

The tonality is rich and it depicts the wet stone pavement nicely.
Most photographers have the impression that 90mm lenses are big, long, and heavy. Compact lenses go well with rangefinders and hence there’re less 90mm users, to be honest. However, this focal length captures the world with simplicity like a haiku. The size is just about a large 50mm, so you can add it to your bag without hesitation. When you are shooting with a 35mm/50mm, the 90mm will bring a nice change. Now is the time to overcome sheer prejudice. It’s sharp enough wide open and it becomes sharper once you stop down, while it won’t become too hard. In addition, with the natural bokeh, you can shoot portraits.
