This is the second version Nokton. The first version was already f1.2 and it was an excellent lens because of the sharpness wide open. But this update includes 50cm Focus distance (rangefinder coupling depends on the body) and the bayonet shade. I heard there is no change in the optics, but I feel this version is sharper. I don't know what causes this difference, but
take a look at the review of the first version to see if they are different. Anyway, it's very sharp wide open and makes me want to use it wide open. It has a unique transparency and the bokeh is smooth and beautiful. I also appreciate the 50cm Focus distance even though the rangefinder doesn't couple in the extra 20cm. And rest assured that the extra 20cm doesn't degrade the picture quality. Even at 50cm, the focus peak is extremely sharp. It's hefty for a 35mm. But, once you see the output, you can't forget it.
