Great for portraits, not to mention. Leave picture quality to the lens, and just focus on the heart of the subject.
The 90mm bright-line is so small. Since rangefinders' viewfinder doesn't zoom in (or out) like SLR cameras, the feeling of cropping becomes stronger. At first you may just release shutters worrying about the focus and composition. But once you see the results, you will be surprised by the superb Apochromat quality. This lens captures colors and shapes faithfully. It won't become too hard with smaller apertures, and the close up performance is great, too. It's not a star fast lens, but it captures things as they are without adding extra taste. It's well-suited to digital cameras, so it will be your great lens for portraits, landscapes, and snapshots. If there's any other thing you need, that's your courage to choose a 90mm for your lens of the day.
