Stopped down one f-stop. Very sharp, but not hard.

F2.5 and the 80cm Focus distance. The SUMMARIT series do look like a bargain priced edition compared to other extravagant and loud Leica lenses. For many people “bargain” means poor quality, but for this SUMMARIT series, you never need to worry about it. The natural drawing by non-aspheric lenses are just pleasant and they are compact as opposed to other lenses getting larger and larger. It’s sharp enough wide open and still has some softness. As I mentioned in the review of other SUMMARIT lens, this would be a nice choice for old-lens-fans who wants just a little modern taste. This choice is like you choose the Elmar f3.5 after using many large aperture lenses.
